Each angel is intricately detailed, and hand painted. Markings and numbered on the bottom. These are from JAPAN and were bought in the 1950"s when my parents were stationed there. There are four of them each playing a different instrument. 1) Long blonde blue-eyed angel girl with wings (one has been repaired) dressed in yellow gold and is playing the piano. 2) Long blonde blue-eyed angel girl with wings (one has been repaired) dressed in light green with symbol in one hand and the other has a drumstick with drum. 3)Long light blonde blue-eyed angel girl with wings dressed in lavender w blue playing the cello missing pat of bow. 4) Long golden hair blue-eyed angel girl with wings dressed in light blue and yellow and is playing the harp. The angels' wings are intricately hand painted in gold and tips are pink. Each angel has a band around her head to look like a halo. Ardalt Lenwile was an american company that imported into America a variety of china-ware made in JAPAN. These are very hard to find and make a great accent piece to any collection especially if you like angels.
