Description: Rare 15 ml unopened but partially evaporated JOY perfume from Jean Patou. Although the bottle is frequently attributed to Baccarat, according to experts it was actually designed by Louis Sue and made in France by either renowned crystal maker Verreries Brosse or Pochet et du Courval. Baccarat bottles of Joy are plainly acid etched with its stamp. Because I have only found one other bottle with the circular MADE IN FRANCE mark without an added JEAN PATOU, I cannot date this perfume except to say it was aged when I bought it 30+ years ago. There is an unknown residue at the base of the neck, the unbroken cord is darkened and the cap is slightly offset. Based on the bottle height of 1 7/8" I believe it originally held 15 ml, about half of which has evaporated. I cannot pick up any scent from the bottle itself. Other than as noted, I cannot find any nicks, dings, chips or scratches to the bottle.
