Description: Mid-Century MCM Josef Rozinek for Borocrystal Bohemian Novy Bor Czechoslovakian Art Glass Oblong Centerpiece Dish This is one of the more striking art glass pieces we've come across. It was hand-blown in the Novy Bor region of the Czech Republic by renowned artist Josef Rozinek, while he was working as a glass blower for Borocrystal in the early 1960s. It measures 10.5" x 5.75" x 2.75" and boasts translucent tones of pink, oragne and yellow. It is a fairly heavy piece, coming in at 3 lbs. 10 oz. Very Good Condition with no chips or cracks. There is, unsurprisingly, some scuffing to the base (see photos). There is also a 1.5" long area with scratches near the base on one side, which will be shown in the last photo in the set. There are a few smaller and far lighter surface scratches here and there, but they are barely notable.
