"John studied at the American Academy of Art in the 1950's where he received his degree in Graphic Design. He served in the National Guard at Camp Ripley, MN. Married in 1956, John and wife Pat moved to Glen Ellyn in 1959, where they built a home and raised their family. John worked as a freelance commercial artist; Unique Printers in Cicero; and Monogram Models in Morton Grove, as Art Director, 1969-93 where he retired. John was President of Friends of Danada in Wheaton; an active member of the DuPage Art League, Wheaton. He was a well known artist in the community, for watercolor paintings depicting the Midwest scenes".
