Description: Original, vintage lot of three African American photographs of the Porter Family from Jackson and Pocahontas, Mississippi. Two Black & White Photos are 4-3/4" x 7" and 7" x 5". The tinted photo of the lone woman is 6-3/4" x 4-3/4". Writing on the back of the four men, "Mother's Brothers Back row L - R Jack, Dan, Joe & Caleb Porter". On the front, lower right corner of the four men, "To A Wonderful Sister Your Brothers". The brothers "Sister" was Bessie Porter Ward (1900 - 1994) and is in the photos. The photo are in fair to good condition. There is rubbing on the edges of each one. The photo of the men and women at the table has two staple holes in each lower corner [see photos]. The photo will be bagged, boarded and shipped in a stiff photo mailer.
