PRINCE CHARLES and LADY DIANA SPENCER - 29 JULY 1981 COLOR POSTCARD This beautiful color postcard features the individual photos of Lady Diana Spencer and H.R.H Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, on the occasion of their announcement to marry. However, the postcard was made to commemorate the marriage of the couple on 29 July 1981, over 40 years ago. Lady Diana is photographed in her blue suit with tie-blouse and Prince Charles in a suit. These photos were taken in the back of Buckingham Palace in February, 2011. The commemoration is shown as, "THE MARRIAGE OF THE PRINCE OF WALES AND LADY DIANA SPENCER 29 JULY 1981". The commemoration of this marriage was one of hope and excitement for the future of the royal couple and is therefore, a beautiful remembrance of that special day.
