Description: Acquired at an estate sale. From the good old days of travel, before the internet and GPS.We kept our fingers crossed as we looked for the "vacancy" sign. HoJo was a favorite and had the iconic look and colors that were recognized by most everyone. Not to mention their food! This pen can be dated sometime between 1958 and 1973 (the years this location was listed in the HJ directory). With the iconic colors and image! The ink has long run dry, but it has been simply a "conversation piece" for me. I hope it will find a new home where it will spark memories of bygone days (and perhaps even a place of honor in a modern HJ in Florida).
