Hawkeye picnic basket with insert. Exterior is a brown colored loom-woven wicker fiber. Interior, bottom, and lid made of pressed board "solid sheet fiber" (according to original descriptions); lid has two hinges that are in good working condition. Discoloration on inside due to age and normal use. Normal vintage wear due to age. This is a sturdy, heavy, and well-made picnic basket.
