Description: I can't fathom how this spoon was crafted. How on earth did the maker manage to get that little ball in the spoon's handle to be completely encased? How does one take a block of wood and produce such a delicate piece? Does anyone do work like this anymore? The vintage small spoon is in good, age-related condition -- there's a tiny bit of scuffing on the bottom end of the spoon's bowl. The amazing handle, with its tiny rotating ball and elaborate carving, is in perfect shape.The spoon is approx. 4 1/2" long x 1 1/2" deep.
