Signed personally by premier, award-winning opal artist, David Freeland Jr. It's rare to find his signed vintage pieces but these are THE famed earrings! We've taken pictures as several angles so you can see what tremendous personality these clear and bright opals have! Only one pair like these, any opal collector would be proud to own these significant pieces! In direct bright light, these are bright NEON Black, red, pink, green blue and gold! In duller light they appear almost dark water green with smoldering colorful fire bubbling up from underneath. These are hand made by David Freeland decades ago, probably in the 1970's. Larger and there is a 'left and a right' earring as the follow the curve of the outer ear ... almost like a huggie. So chubbie and juicy with rich dripping fiery gemstone color! The design boasts all of the fire you want to see in a high-quality designer pair! 1" tall by just under 12mm wide by 3mm thick. Blue/green opal base with green fire accents. The design and the fire are second to none. Solid sterling silver 925. Each earring weighs 3.4 grams each. They do show slight age in patina, and we will leave them with that gorgeous patina unless you ask us to buff them out for you. Buffing costs $15.00 extra and takes about a week. This will bring them to looking as if they were just made. These are collectors' pieces. Wear them and enjoy them. They come with the wide plastic/silver pierced backings to fix them on your ears exactly right. Comes gift boxed. We do combine shipping.
