Description: This vintage face powder box is in very close to mint condition. It was never opened, aside from a hole approximately pencil size on the underside. It was taped over, (when I got it), and appears to still be full of powder. Colors are bright and pristine. Interesting that the back side of the box is marked, “This war-time box contains the same quantity of Face Powder as the original standard packing.” That would date the box from the mid 1939 to 1945. The powder was made by J. Grossmith & sons LTD, in London. Dimensions: Diameter: 2.5 Height: .5”
