Description: This fan is being sold as PARTS OR REPAIR only. When plugged in and switched on, the blades don’t spin and the motor doesn’t make any noise, which suggests to me that it might not be getting and power at all. I noticed there is some electrical tape on the power cord, so the power cord was replaced at some point. The fan blades spin freely and do not strike the cage. I could not get the oscillation mechanism to spin but I believe it is tied to the fan motor. The fan switch still clicks on and off properly. The fan is in decent cosmetic condition.
