Description: 1940's Jay Walton Blount Vending Model Gumball / Peanut / Gambling Vending Machine This is an all ORIGINAL WWII era gumball/peanut vending machine. Produced by Jay Walton Blount. It is essentially a Columbus without the Star Chute flap. It is polished / buffed cast aluminum. What makes this machine extra unusual is that the coin denomination is 25 cents which was quite a bit of money back in the early 1940's. Hence, this was more of a gambling machine rather than a vending machine. Machine works fine on a quarter. Please note: The globe is cracked and the bottom plate is missing. This globe can be replaced with a standard Columbus model "A" or "M" globe. Castings are in great condition. Please note there is a tick out of the top nut but the top nut threads fine. Please ask questions before making a purchase!
