They were known for their beautiful colorways and luxe fibers. Since the closing, it has become difficult to find Colinette yarns. Colinette Firecracker is a nylon ribbon yarn that has bursts of fringe for about 6” followed by ribbon without fringe. The yarn is very light, soft, and shiny. The colors are very bright and saturated - the same colorway in other fibers will be more muted than in Firecracker. It is great for scarves, garments, and blankets. There is a lot of pattern support for this yarn on Ravelry.com as well as a Colinette pattern book just for this yarn. .
