Description: Vintage Carborundum sharpening stone #109 in box - combination grit 6"x2"x1" came from an old machinist toolbox where most tools dated from the 1040's through the early 1970'sThe stone is very clean on both sides (not my doing). the only thing i did was apply some glue to the inside corner edge of the box top there is even an oval shaped label on the side of the stone.- I placed a straight edge (yellow ruler) on both sides of the stone (see last 2 photos) so one can see how level the stone is. The 10th photo shows the fine side and it is almost perfect ( look for gap between stone and yellow ruler). When you look at the 11th photo (coarser side) you can see that it is a little more worn in the center
