Description: Vintage Cabinet Photograph of Physicist Charles Riborg Mann, who was a civilian adviser in the United States War Department and was a member of the Committee on Education and Special Training during the First World War. By Harris & Ewing of Washington, D.C. Lot includes a cabinet photo, a reproduction on photo paper of the cabinet photo, an Associated News proof of Mann, and an old photo of a man smoking, possibly Mann. The cabinet photo has damage to the corners consistent with age and storage as well as from the rusty paperclips. The smoking photo has a small tear on the left side as well as chunks of backing missing; it also has some surface wear. The other two photos are in good vintage condition. The cabinet photo folder is 14" x 10", and it has a rip at the top. The smoking photo is 9 x 7.5", not including the paper backing. The two other photos are about 10" x7".
