Description: Up for Buy It Now/Best Offer is the classic and highly collectible Brine PL66 head that was released in about 1974. This is a vintage unused head from going on 50 years ago, and it is a staple for any lacrosse stick collector. Here is one that is in great shape, and in an attractive blue colorway. It is unstrung and has never been used--extremely hard to find. The old-school Brine logo on the throat shows a little bit of age from a touch of the gold paint wearing off over time, but otherwise, this is in beautiful condition like it has been preserved (because it has). There are a lot of stuff you can find online or on social media about these heads, which is the "PL" or "Superlight" series. This one DOES NOT have the Superlight marking on the side, possibly indicating it is an earlier model. They are tough as nails to the point you could very well use it now, though I would recommend only stringing it and keeping it as a wall or show piece. These came out at a time when lacrosse was truly trying to figure itself out. This head competed with STX 73 head at the time, and in my humble opinion, this was a much better stick, just a better overall design, craftmanship and better molds. The stamping on this one is nice and clear.
