Description: Vintage Barbershop "SINGE" tapers used by the barber. People use to believe that hair had fluid in it and barber's would singe the ends to keep the fluid from escaping. The original box is a little tattered but still displays well. 29 of the original tapers are still present.This came out of an older barbershop in Chapel Hill, N. C.
