It is approx. 4 3/4 tall x 7 3/4 inches wide. The face pulls out and the battery goes in the back when pulled out. It takes a single AA battery. I think I turned the face slightly when I put it back in. You just turn it to straighten. Sorry I didn't notice until I enlarged the photos. Check back frequently.
