Description: Weight (not including cord): 13 lbs. 12 oz.Base: 9.25" x 9.25"Overall height: 47.25Top of shade: 8" x 8" I found several mentions online of this being a Frederick Cooper lamp, but they didn't have a photo of the label, and this one is unmarked, so I can't say it for certain. It's certainly a unique lamp, in the 1980's postmodern style. As the shade is metal, it doesn't provide a lot of light except upwards. The only way to turn it on/off is a switch along the cord. The cord has an odd setup, in that it is actually two cords spliced together under the base (and another wire sticking out the middle). If you buy this lamp, I recommend that you save money on shipping by having me send it in pieces, and then use that saved money to have a professional rewire it. It's still fairly shiny, with a slightly aged golden brass patina. It has a few areas with a tarnished surface (see photos). It's mostly composed of a base, pole, and shade. The pole and shade both rotate, so there are worn areas where the pieces connect. It's secure as a lamp, but they will rotate if you pick it up by the pole. One side of the shade has a dent on the inside, so the outside has a bump. The base has one corner that split, and one slight bump. It's always expensive to ship floor lamps. If you want to save money on postage, I could unscrew the pieces and send the pole in one box and the base and shade in another. Shipping would end up being about half, but you would have to put it together again. I would pack it in a way so you know how to put it together, and send photos or notes if that helps.
