Description: Offering this vintage cloth towel. It is fairly large, and measures 54 inches long. (57 Inches long if you include the fringe.) It is 31 Inches wide. The LAST photo shows a dollar bill and a 12 inch ruler on the towel so you can get an idea of the scale. Probably made for the beach or swinging pool, but would also have been a nice large bath towel. NOTE: IT DOES NOT HAVE THE MAKER'S TAG. It pictures scenes, and characters from the original (FIRST) Star Wars film, released in 1977. Known THEN simply as "STAR WARS" but later came to be called, "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope." There is no date on the towel, but from the graphics, I'm pretty sure that this was made circa 1977 or 1978. The condition is FAIR to GOOD. No holes, tears or significant stains. (There is a very small light tan mark in the top / right corner. See close-up.) This has seen MANY washings and the fabric is getting a little thin and the colors are a little washed. It has some scattered "snags" & loose threads here & there. It still displays very nicely and is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
