Description: This listing is for a nice Vintage early 1970's Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar Neck. The date code on this neck is fairly illegible but the neck is clearly from the early 1970's and is likely from right around 1973. The neck is in good shape and will install properly but does have some issues so please check out the pictures and read the description thoroughly. The neck has the code neck stamp, two string trees and no serial on the headstock which means it was made sometime between 1972 and 1975. The last two numbers of the date code are illegible.The neck was modified at one time to be on a 4 bolt neck and there are two extra neck screw holes drilled into the bottom of the neck. The good news is that this neck will not install well onto a 4 bolt or 3 bolt neck body. There is also a small chip in the bottom of the neck by the date code. The neck comes as pictured with the original F tuners and two string trees.The finish on the neck and decal are original but shows wear and fading and there is ring wear on the sides of the fretboard. The nut has been changed to a brass nut. The truss rod is functional and turns in both directions. The frets do show some heavy wear and may need dressing or leveling and possibly a refret if you want very tall-new frets.
