Description: Vintage 1960's Mystery Action TAXI CAB No. 13028 manufactured by YONEZAWA - Japan. It measures 9" long, 3 3/4" wide and 3 3/4" high. The taxi cab is battery operated,, features side opening and closing door, blinking lights and fare turning meter. It's battery compartment is as clean as a whistle and uses 2 "C" batteries. Really entertaining with it's automatic mystery driving actions. This had been stored in the back room of a local dime store for a few years and shows a little box wear while the bottom appears to had got caught on the shelf and tore a couple of holes in the cardboard box bottom. The tin lithographing is quite nice but over the years the plastic wheels discolored somewhat. Still, all in all, this 1960's Yonezawa Mystery Action Taxi Cab will make a nice addition for someone's collection.
