Given this and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended.***********This seldom seen vintage 1960's Revita is an example of a watch that in my humble opinion looks markedly better in person. It has a satin champagne "T SWISS MADE T" signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition as it shows age-related wear. The lume, which emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The black bezel, which shows wear and rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely with the lume pip complementing the patina on the dial and hands beautifully. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with no signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "WATERPROOF 20 ATM. INCABLOC AUTOMATIC ALL STAINLESS STEEL" with "425112" followed by a picture of a diver and "1603" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped "DELMA." The crystal shows scratching. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss ETA 2472 automatic movement with quickset date function is clean, runs strong albeit a bit slow and the date wheel rolls over at 12 am. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After winding the sharply threaded non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement ran about 2 minutes slow by the end of its approximate 40 hour power reserve period. The crown winds smoothly. Given that the movement runs a bit slow and considering that it shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement) a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38.5 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. Given that the movement runs a bit slow and considering that it has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended.
