Description: No reserve on this auction, highest bidder wins! You are bidding on a original 1950’s Maroon Emerson pocket radio with the original box. The radio is in fantastic condition for its age, I did not attempt to clean the radio for pictures, this is as found. The radio does have a small hairline crack on the upper right hand side which can be seen in the picture. The original box could use new glue but I didn’t want to mess with it. I did not test it as I don’t have the battery, but was told it worked when last used 30 years ago. Due to me not testing it, it is being sold as is in unknown working condition. I’m not a radio expert at all. But I believe this was a controversial radio as it was labeled transistor but still had tubes?? Do your own research before you bid. Buyer pays shipping, sold as is. Item will be mailed in the original box in another box to protect the entire package.
