Description: This is an unusual old wind-up toy. It is NOT marked with a maker, date or even a country or origin. I think he's from around the 1950's or 1960's - give or take. It reminds me of a "Cootie Bug". It could be some kind of insect or spider. (Yes, I KNOW it only has 4 legs.) His body, head and shoes are made of hard plastic. His long legs are steel wires and the mechanical inner-workings are metal. There is a permanently attached key on the underside. When wound, the legs move and he walks forward. It still works great. The yellow body measures just under 4 inches long and he is 4 & 1/2 inches tall, at the hat. The condition is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. There are no chips or cracks in the plastic. He displays great.
