Vintage 1940s Cahill Old Hollywood Satin Wedding Dress Gown Wax Flower Veil XS

Description: Vintage 1940s William Cahill Beverly Hills Old Hollywood Candlelight Satin Wedding Dress Bridal Gown with Wax Flower Veil Please see video so you can see how the dress moves. This dress was soaked / hand laundered, but will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. This will either be shipped in a large polymailer or folded and shipped in a box. Again, it will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. Estimated modern XS - but please see the abundance of measurements to make your best determination. FEATURES: Back zip closure with two hook and eyes at top of neck (top and bottom are traditional metal eyes and the middle one is thread eye which was common at the time). Art Deco design. Shoulder padding. Cummerbund waist style. Long sleeves. Long built in train. Two large rosettes on back. A statement. Headband style veil comprised of ropes of satin with wax flowers. COLOR: a candlelight ivory. This will obviously change depending on the lighting situation. Notice how the video is different than the NON EDITED still photographs due to different lightings. WOUNDS FROM TIME: There are some marks/staining - mainly near the bottom of the train/hem - see photos. There are some smaller marks throughout and some minor pricks/scuffs to the satin. One watermark on the end of train. It truly does present beautifully, however. One of the rosettes will need to have stitching reinforced - it's still very much attached, but the stitching holding it onto the dress is starting to come undone. The tulle of the veil will need to be replaced as it has discolored over time and has a few holes and rough edges. A few of the wax flowers appear to have broken over time. See photos. I am 5’2” and at the time of the video, I weighed 105 pounds and was wearing 4" heels. This was actually quite a good fit on me.
