Description: For sale is the first version of the American Microphone Co.'s D4T microphone w/ an extremely rare handle designed for this microphone. I'm almost positive you'll never see another one paired with this handle that is quite ergonomic in hand. This version unlike the later revisions had no badge with the American branding located in the middle of the microphone. Sonically, this microphone is functioning exactly as it should and sounds nice and full, with the original dynamic element inside of it!The chromed handle has an ON/OFF switch that is fully functional, and the short cable terminates in XLR, making it a breeze to use with your current cables at home. This microphone does have wear and tear throughout the years, if you wanted to... the black area could easily be retouched. I've left it as is, and there is nothing wrong with an older microphone from the 1940s looking as it should.
