Vintage 1940 Rotary Telephone Monophone Automatic Electric Chicago Tested Works

Description: Vintage Monophone Automatic Electric Telephone. The name on the phone's dial is Colfax, and the person I received it from said it was an antique from a Colfax office. However, I have no way to verify that information.  See photos for condition. There are signs of wear: the bottom has some surface rust, and the rubber around the bottom of the phone is cracked. I believe it has been modified to use a standard plug-in phone cord that is included. Tested and it works! Called myself and using a rotary dial after all these years was an experience. 😁😁
