Description: Vintage Late 1930's - Early 1940's Halloween Costume. Monkey! Gauze/Muslin Mask with eye and mouth openings, back strap is in place, 'hair' around edge of mask. Flannel hood with ties. Brown flannel body with image of a monkey and a monkey grinder on the front. Back of costume has 4 snaps, a tie at the neck and tail (the tail had a wire for shaping).Label is size large - see pictures for measurements. The costume at one time had been altered at waist, see images. There a couple of very small holes in the body, otherwise in Great Condition! Most likely early Collegeville. RARE
