Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Great Doll for the Snow White Collector! ...................................................................Vintage 1930's (1938) 15" Knickerbocker Rare Sleep Eyed Snow White Composition Doll in her Original Gown, Slip, Socks and ShoesAll composition, Snow White - with working renewed brown sleep eyes - thick brush lashes, eye shadow, painted lashes, single-stroke eyebrows, closed rosebud mouth and bright cheek blush. Original raven mohair wig with a bluehair ribbon. Good condition five part body jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Original costume: long yellow gown with brown velvet bodice, accent stripes on the sleeves, silky flower trim at the neck. Long white one-piece cotton slip with attached panties. Rayon socks and bow decorated, center snap oilcloth shoes.CONDITION:Good carefully played with condition. Excellent, original face paint, working sleep eyes are slow to open and close - have thick lashes. She has a few (maybe three) tiny dots of soil on her face.Wig is thinning. Very, very light crazing all over. Repaired seam splits to the sides of her head. Free of any other seam splits, chips, flaking paint or large stains. Costume is original and in quite good condition. Long slip is in good condition. Gown and slip close with small brass safety pins. Both have light age soiling. Shoes have wear on top edges, good soles, One center snap has broken and is held with nurses tape on the underside.
