Description: c. 1930s - 1940s; Replogle Globes - Chicago Mid-century globe made up of twelve chromolithograph paper gores laid on a sphere, printed tin hour dial and moulded brass full-circle meridian atop a turned wooden stand with four Streamline legs with clawed brass feet. This piece was manufactured by Replogle, the largest globe manufacturer in the world. Due to it being from the 1940s, certain country names are (by current naming conventions) incorrect or omitted, such as "Yugoslavia" and "Rumania" and a lack of Pakistan.
