Description: Vietnam Era US Air Force USAF Type E-1 Radio Carrier Vest - AN/PRR-9 & AN/PRT-4A Radios - Size Medium - Original - Excellent Condition Up for sale is a Vietnam Era US Air Force USAF Type E-1 Radio Carrier Vest. This is an early 1960's to mid-1960's vintage Radio Carrier Vest. It is the USAF Sage Green Color. This vest was used by aircrews to carry the AN/PRR-9 and AN/PRT-4A Emergency Survival Radios. There is one pocket on each side of the vest that will hold each radio, see photos. The Vest is in Excellent Condition, no real evidence of any prior usage. No rips or tear, no fraying, all seams are intact. The zipper and snaps all function properly. The tag show it is a size Medium. It has an early 1960's contract number with no discernible contract date. Please see photos for details and condition. These vests are somewhat unusual and are commonly found in most Vietnam Collections. This will be a welcomed addition to your Vietnam Era USAF items collection. Please see the photos.
