Blu-ray is made different than any other disc, data layer is so close to surface that any deeper scratch and damage is beyond repair and Blu-Ray repair success isn't high. I'll repeat anyone telling different is misleading. Similar is with Gamecube games, while with GameCube disc will be resurfaced and look as new or close to new the game might not play, who ever claims different is misleading you. However GameCube repair success is higher then Blu-Ray.We use exact same highest end machines.
