Description: Victorinox 2012 Damascus Damast Limited Edition Model - 2012 Damascus Limited Edition (0.8461.J12) Swiss Soldiers Knife With Damascus Blade, Walnut Limited Edition 2012 UPC / Barcode - 7611160038074 Knife - 3339 / 5000 ( Same as on knife and box, please check images) The 2012 Damascus Limited Edition (0.8461.J12) is a 111mm One-Handed Trailmaster/Trekker* with a Damasteel stainless steel, deep etch, Damascus blade and Swiss Walnut handles. This special knife, aimed at collectors and the connoisseur, has a limited production of only 5000 pieces worldwide, with only 600 knives allocated to North America. Each knife has an individual serial number, and comes in a presentation case. It was released October 2012. It is the third model in the Damascus series, following the 2011 Climber and 2010 Pioneer. It is the first 111mm production model to feature the Damascus steel blade, and also the first to feature a locking blade. The blade has a hardness of 60HRC. This model features the same tools as the One-Hand Trailmaster/Trekker and the 2008 Soldier Knife and is the first Victorinox model to feature Swiss Walnut wooden handles (scales). Note - The small victorinox mini pamphlet is missing. The inner side of the box (white display) shows wear due to age and is flaking, The Information pamphlets is crisp but show a little yellowing. Unused piece, the blade especially is beautiful and mint. (Please check images, lots of them provided) Recently acquired from Bombay, India, the piece is unused, however shows aging especially on the box and the inner side of the box.
