Description: Victorian Floral Rose Brooch Enamel Floral Marigold Antique Hand Painted Pin We offers for sale this darling antique Georgian or early Victorian hand painted enamel floral brooch which depicts a spray of pink roses, red and yellow marigolds, green leaves and blue morning glories. The colors are rich and vibrant. It measures approximately 1 inch in diameter. The enamel work and painting on the front of the brooch are well done and are in good condition,with a few tiny surface scratches which are not noticeable when worn. The back of the brooch has some enamel loss, wear and corresponding oxidation to the surface of the metal. It is unmarked and unsigned. It closes with an early C clasp and a long pin. The pin has been replaced. From the design or the catch, hinge and pin length the brooch looks to be made in or before 1850. Postage includes: shipping, tracking and materials.
