Description: The listing is for a Victorian silver plate large tureen, manufactured by Barbour Bros Silver Company in Quadruple Plate dating from the late 1800's. The tureen features an exceptional floral design with dark patina to accentuate the details and the shine of the silver plate. also has a small beading design. The silver plate ladle, manufactured by Wm. Rogers also beading around the handle and the bottom tray which is not original to the tureen and unmarked also has a similar design around the rim. Condition: The tureen in is good condition as shown in the pictures. There is a small scratch on the cover which I have shown in picture number 23 and a few tiny specks as shown in pictures number 21 and 22. The ladle is in good condition. The tray is unmarked. There are use marks as shown in the pictures. Size: The soup tureen stands 7.5 inches tall and measures 11.25 inches wide. The ladle measures 10 inches long and the tray measures 15.5 by 12 inches.
