Product Description Malossi Sport 282cc Cylinder Kit for Piaggio Quasar 4T LC Engines. Malossi top performance 282cc aluminium cylinder for Maxi scooters with 250cc Quasar engines. Top performance with the 4V head. Great manufacturing and the head alone yields 15-20% more power. Delivery contains complete cylinder kit and pre-assembled 4-valve cylinder head (without camshaft). Original camshaft may be retained. The cylinder is primary aluminium alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon, cylinder liner and silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die and crossed smoothing with two diamond passages. The aluminium alloy piston with high silicon content and low thermal expansion comes with 3 ultra compact rings, the piston has also been lightened and reinforced. The super precise cylinder head is machine within a thousandth (mm) tolerances, valvle guides have been designed with a new profile and valve seats made of high silicon content, low thermal expansion alloy. The increased intake valve is ø 25 mm and the exhaust valve is ø 22.2 mm. The valve springs are mad of Si-Cr oil-tempered and annealed steel which is designed to operate under increased engine power.
