Wardonia, a British staple of a shaver, has been around since the early 1920's, and this razor probably dates to the 1940's-1950's. Provides a really nice smooth shave, similar to the American Clix razor or the Bakelite Star razor, the Wardonia has a very long standing tradition in the U.K.'s shaving history and has a long-standing huge following. It has a great solid construction too, so it's not feather-light at all. It is well-balanced and quite a pleasure to shave with. Please note that it takes proprietary blades, but modern DE blades can be modified very easily in 10 seconds. You can do 5 or 10 in a couple minutes and have them ready ahead. Once you shave with it, you'll see why it's worth that little effort. See the last photo on the four little snips you need to do on a modern blade. That's it!
