It has excellent variegation patterns, with plenty of roots. It is already at it's mature size and will continue from there- saving quite a few year's growth time.The leaves are BIG! This plant will be shipping in a larger box than we usually use to accomodate the large leaves. It will be shipped intact in moss in the pot. There are a bunch of variegated Monstera deliciosa types out there- I've tried many and, in my experience, this one is by far the easiest to grow- it gives you little to no trouble and gets large leaves the quickest. In fact, this one is just about as tough and easy to grow as the standard green Monstera deliciosa- but with AWESOME VARIEGATION. Not 100% sure, but I believe this is what was once called "Thai Constellation" and later was called "Cheesecake" - there may be some slight differences between those two, I don't know- but I do know this one is the GOOD GROWER.. it is 'true' Monstera deliciosa, (not the smaller 'borsigiana albo variegata' which, while a pure white, I found to be very finicky) - it has the wrinkle at the geniculum (where the petiole meets the leaf) that indicates the large Monstera deliciosa. I've found this one will grow pretty much just like a regular Monstera deliciosa- same speed, same toughness. I recommend growing it in the same type of light conditions- no direct afternoon sun. Morning sun is OK, indirect or dappled shade after that. I do know this one will get the large leaves with big holes.. I have not gotten one mature enough to fruit yet, but I would imagine if allowed to climb long enough, it would produce the edible fruit, just like a regular Monstera deliciosa (the fruit may even appear variegated) This is a climber- it will need a good support to attach to and get the large leaves. It is fairly cold hardy- it can take a light frost, although its probably best to protect it since it is a rarer variegated form. It can easily be grown indoors near a sunny window in bright indirect light.
