Item Description Valley Arts M Series Bass Valley Arts was founded in North Hollywood, California by Mike McGuire and Al Carness in the 1970s. This brand was popular in the 80's and was used by Steve Lukather and Lee Ritenour. This model is a used product based on the domestically produced M series. The body is made of ash wood, and the maple neck has a faint bird's eye pattern and an ebony fingerboard. The pickup has been changed from the original PJ and consists of EMG-40P & EMG-40J. TREBLE and BASS of each pickup can be adjusted using the knobs on the back panel. The sound produced from ash wood and EMG is clear and tight, giving it a modern impression. There are minor dents and scratches, as well as some yellowing on the binding, but I think it is in good condition for its age. The neck is slightly twisted, but this does not affect performance.
