Description: Description [Used] Gibson Custom / Les Paul Classic All Mahogany 57 Classic Zebra Cherry 1995 Les Paul Classic with an all-mahogany body 1995 Custom Shop Les Paul Classic with an all-mahogany body! The logo on the back of the nut indicates that it is a Custom Shop product. Based on the regular Classic, it features an all-mahogany body and an open zebra 57 Classic. The all-mahogany is achieved by combining the mahogany top with the mahogany back. The mahogany neck is a Classic base, so it is quite thin overall. Although it is a Custom Shop product, it is not a deep joint. Classics usually have a combination of high-powered 496R and 500T with ceramic magnets, but this one is equipped with the 57 Classic, a PAF replica of the time, in open and zebra. The body has wipe scratches, scratches, line scratches, and dents. The pickguard has fine picking scratches overall. There are line scratches at the tip of the cutaway, and fine scratches and impact scratches mainly on the lower outer edge. There are impact scratches and scratches on the side of the jack. There is a line scratch on the lower right part of the back of the body, and a slight scratch in the center. There is also a rice-sized paint peeling on the lower left edge of the back of the body. There are sesame-sized dents in the center of the back of the neck at the 2nd floor. There is a faint scratch on the upper right edge of the head top, and there are paint gaps around the veneer and head logo due to aging. There are cracks due to aging on the screw holes of the truss rod cover, the screw holes of the jack plate, and the inside of each knob, but there is no problem with use and operation. In addition, each hardware has deterioration and tarnish of the plating. The neck condition is forward bow at the high position of the 1st string, but it is currently adjusted by grinding the frets, so the string height is not too high to play. The truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening and loosening directions. There are no string marks on the frets, and about 80% of the frets remain. The current string height is adjusted to about 2.0 mm on the 6th string side of the 12th fret and about 1.5 mm on the 1st string side. Overall, it is in relatively good condition, although there are signs of wear and tear due to age. The neck condition is generally fine, and you wouldn't know it unless you were told. Recommended for those who like the sound of the Les Paul Custom 54/57 and are looking for a thinner neck.
