Description: Unusual Vintage saltwater lure possible Heddon prototype Description - Here's a vintage lure I found at an estate sale a few years ago . It has a lucite like body with 2 feathered single hooks & one plan single hook , a line up front which is wired thru to a top line tie. The eyes are glass and the prop is marked Heddon's Dowagiac . The lure is very well put together and does not look like something someone cobbled together . Prototype ? Maybe something Heddon made for another tackle company ? I put a high price on it , but accepting all offers. Dimensions - Lure body 4" long inc. hardware 5 1/2" long Age - ca 1920 + - Condition - Lure is in what I would describe as ex - condition with some rubbing /scuffs at the base.
