Description: This item is a right-handed 9 club iron set. They are a nice set of classic MacGregor Tommy Armour 3852MS Model irons. These heads are made of stainless steel and your rarely see these early MacGregor sets offered in stainless. The 5 iron is 37" length, so I believe they are standard length and lie angle when made. Included are the 2-iron through 9-iron. Also included is a MacGregor Tourney 3852MS DS double service wedge that is not made of stainless steel. Heads are in good used vintage condition. Yes, they show use with bag nicks and dings. Grooves are fine. The shafts are the original MacGregor steel with the green coating over the steel. The coating is in good condition with no cracks and very little of the chipping to the coating that you usually see after 90 years. The grips on all the clubs are old apparently original long leather wraps. The grips are old and dry as expected after 90 years. Some of the butt caps are missing. A classic style blade design. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 12-pound box. This item shipped calculated UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the USPS charges. On top of that eBay takes 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay now collects tax for many states. I do not receive that money as eBay remits it directly to your state. eBay even takes 15% of the tax money from me and I never see this money.
