Description: Offered by Over The Blue Horizon is a very nice metal disc depicting the logo of UNITED STATES FORCES JAPAN (USFJ) during the 1980s. USFJ is a component of what was then United States Pacific Command (now United States Indo-Pacific Command). Based at Yokota Air Base in the Kanto Plains, USFJ worked U.S. military issues with Japanese military counterparts. The logo changed approximately 15 years ago; this logo is the previous logo. It is neatly enameled onto brass; I believe this was intended to be mounted on a commemorative or going-away plaque. It measures 4.75 inches across and the front (the important side!) is in PERFECT condition; the back is a bit ‘scruffed’ up.
