UNIQUE HATTIE CARNEGIE GOLD TONE BROWN ART GLASS MALTESE CROSS BROOCH PIN

Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Up for sale is a very unusual maltese cross brooch made by Hattie Carnegie in the late 1950's or early 1960's. It is 2 3/8" long x 2 1/8" wide and has a gold tone setting with stones in a cruciform shape. Five of the stones are of a spotted brown art glass resembling tortoise shell, and the the other stones are in topaz and borealis. One of the revere stones has a sliver like chip on the reverese that is only visible from the back. It's a shallow chip but it does reveal the white glass core center of the rectangular stone. Overall, it is in good condition and it is marked "Hattie Carnegie" on the reverse. ***Please note that my camera is cobalt blue and often makes polished surfaces look dark due to the reflection on the metal surface.*** SHIPPING:First class shipping, insurance, and handling in the US is $8.
