Description of the reverse On the reverse of the coin, the abbreviations EU and UA are placed on a mirror background, which, intertwining, create a visual symbol of the unity of Ukraine and Europe. The two letters "U" are as if one whole, forming the image of a new life that is sprouting under the auspices of the European Union. Around the inscriptions ДЕН / ЕВРОПИ / EUROPE / DAY twelve stars are depicted, as on the EU flag, symbolizing the unity, integrity and harmony of the peoples of Europe. Description of the obverse On the obverse of the coin, a stylized trident, a symbol of Ukraine, is placed in the center.
