Description: This is a red leather-bound edition of 'Two Plays' by Anton Chekhov. It was published in 1980 by the Franklin Press. It includes 'The Three Sisters' and 'The Cherry Orchard'. It is part of the 'Greatest Books of the Twentieth Century' Limited Edition. Size: 6" x 9" Condition: Please note that pages 150-250 are lightly wrinkled at the bottom gutter as shown in the photos. There is no staining or discoloration that would suggest water damage. It is most likely from a combination of high humidity storage at some point and proximity to the reading ribbon. I still consider the book to be in Very Good (VG) condition. Please evaluate and make your own determination.Boards - Clean; brightly gilt. Very faint shelf wear at bottom edges near front corner.Spine - Clean; brightly gilt.Text Block - Bottom edge rubbed and top edge lightly rubbed next to reading ribbon as shown.Endpapers - Clean; no foxing or edge fading.Pages - Tight binding; feels once read for the first half, unread for the rest. Pages 150-250 lightly wrinkled at bottom gutter. No foxing, staining, markings or highlights within. Reading ribbon bright and stowed; very lightly frayed at end.Scent - Standard book.
