There is a wooden dowel attached to the back of the frame that allows the frame to sit on the tv. It does not block the sensor, as the sensor with the Frame TV is detached from the tv itself. There are also two straps attached to the back of the Frame that can wrap around the tv to make the frame sit tighter on the tv. Light assembly required, due to crazy shipping costs if we were to ship it pre-assembled. All you need to do is screw in 4 brackets and two straps!
