Description: I've owned the TSPROF K-02 sharpening system for many years, and as you might agree - it's super-nice. But it won't sharpen scissors or chisels without adapters. I designed this adapter to solve that, and now offer them for sale to others here. I've used it enough to say it's every bit as solid and secure as the TSPROF system itself. This adapter 'table' locks into your existing TSPROF 'Whole Milled Clamps'. My adapter is based on a 3/8" round 6061 aluminum bar that you tighten into your Whole Milled Clamps. As you tighten your whole milled clamps, you can rotate the adapter table to the desired angle for your scissors or chisels. I include a pair of 'toe' clamps that allow you to securely clamp scissors to the table. There are 9 possible positions for the toe clamps, so a wide variety of scissors can be accommodated.I also include a 'strap' clamp that allows you to very easily clamp wood chisels and hand plane blades (up to 2.3" wide) to the table.The table is machined from 6061 Aluminum, the clamps are black oxide coated steel, and the locking screws are nice hardened metric hex head cap screws (M4 with 2.5 mm hex head, the same as used elsewhere on the TSPROF machine).The table measures 3/8" x 2" x 4", and provides a lot of surface area for you to make your own mods or tweaks if needed for special items you may want to sharpen.
